Six set lunches from £15 for London Design Festival 2026
Nine days of installations across Shoreditch and Clerkenwell, with lunch from £15 at BAO and four courses for £19 at UBA
London Design Festival runs from Saturday 12 September to Sunday 20 September 2026, nine days of installations spread across the city, according to the London Design Festival. Most of it is seen on foot. A courtyard piece in one district, a showroom in the next, then twenty minutes of pavement between them. Lunch has to land somewhere in that, and a fixed price keeps the middle of the day simple.
Shoreditch carries a good share of the walking, and UBA serves four courses for £19 on Great Eastern Street, while Kolamba East is five minutes from Shoreditch High Street with two courses at £25. Luca is three minutes from Farringdon for a Clerkenwell stop, and BAO puts three courses at £15 within six minutes of Piccadilly Circus. Each one is listed on Every London lunch set menu.
01 · Kolamba East
Spitalfields
Two or three courses £25 to £30, Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm to 3pm.
Kolamba East is five minutes' walk from Shoreditch High Street and eight from London Liverpool Street. Two courses cost £25 and three courses £30, served Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm to 3pm. The cooking is modern Sri Lankan, with charred coconut chicken and breadfruit curry among the dishes. The set menu runs on Saturday, which is the day the festival opens.

Shoreditch
One to three courses £17 to £26, Monday to Friday, 12pm to 2.45pm.
Gloria is eight minutes' walk from Old Street, eight from Shoreditch High Street and thirteen from London Liverpool Street. The Pranzetto lunchtime deal runs one to three courses, £17 to £26, Monday to Friday. One course is enough for a short stop between districts, and three courses turns the middle of the day into the plan. Lunch ends at 2.45pm, so this is a table to book early in the afternoon.

Clerkenwell
Two or three courses £34 to £42, Monday to Sunday, 12pm to 2pm.
Luca holds one Michelin star and sits three minutes' walk from Farringdon, seven from Chancery Lane. The Express lunch is two or three courses, £34 to £42, served 12pm to 2pm. It runs Monday to Sunday, which covers the Saturday the festival opens and the Sunday it closes. Handmade pasta is what the kitchen is listed for.

Two or three courses £24 to £28, Monday to Friday.
Manteca is a Bib Gourmand nose-to-tail Italian, six minutes' walk from Shoreditch High Street and nine from Old Street. The rotating Rapid Rigatoni set lunch is two or three courses, £24 to £28, Monday to Friday. London Liverpool Street is eleven minutes away on foot, which makes it a workable stop for anyone arriving by train for the day. Weekdays are the window here, so slot it into the Monday to Friday stretch of the festival.

Shoreditch
Four courses £19, Tuesday to Thursday, 12pm to 3pm.
UBA cooks Pan-Asian on Great Eastern Street, inside the Hart Shoreditch hotel, five minutes' walk from Old Street. The £19 Lunch Set Menu arrives as a bento box of four dishes served together, with a choice between meat, fish and vegetarian. Korean fried chicken, rock shrimp tempura and vegetable gyoza are among the picks. It runs Tuesday to Thursday, 12pm to 3pm, and four dishes at once keeps a midweek lunch to an hour.

Three courses £15, Monday to Friday, 12pm to 5pm.
BAO has sites around London, with Piccadilly Circus six minutes' walk away, Tottenham Court Road seven and Leicester Square seven. The BAO 15 weekday menu pairs a bao, a snack and a noodle dish for £15, Monday to Friday, 12pm to 5pm. Three courses at £15 fits a gap between a West End showroom and the next stop on the map. Service holds to 5pm, so a late lunch still works after a morning of installations.
The festival closes on Sunday 20 September, and the nine days before it involve more pavement than most weeks in September. A Sunday lunch at Luca is three minutes from Farringdon and done by 2pm.
