Set lunches from £15 for London Design Festival 2026
Nine days of installations across Shoreditch and Clerkenwell, with lunch from £15 at BAO and four courses for £19 at UBA
London Design Festival runs from Saturday 12 September to Sunday 20 September 2026, nine days of installations spread across the city, according to the London Design Festival. Most of it is seen on foot. A courtyard piece in one district, a showroom in the next, then twenty minutes of pavement between them. Lunch has to land somewhere in that, and a fixed price keeps the middle of the day simple.
Shoreditch carries a good share of the walking, and UBA serves four courses for £19 on Great Eastern Street, while Kolamba East is five minutes from Shoreditch High Street with two courses at £25. Luca is three minutes from Farringdon for a Clerkenwell stop, and BAO puts three courses at £15 within six minutes of Piccadilly Circus. Each one is listed on Every London lunch set menu.
01 | Kolamba East
Spitalfields
Two or three courses £25 to £30, Tuesday to Saturday, 12pm to 3pm.
Charred coconut chicken and breadfruit curry anchor the set lunch at Kolamba East, Sri Lankan home cooking of the kind a family would put on the table rather than a restaurant. It sits in Spitalfields, a few streets up from Shoreditch High Street. The set menu runs on Saturday, which is the day the festival opens.

Shoreditch
One to three courses £17 to £26, Monday to Friday, 12pm to 2.45pm.
Neapolitan pizzas come out of a Marana oven at Gloria and mafaldine is finished inside a wheel of pecorino, with crispy calamari and sweet onions, branzino on garlic spinach and datterini, and a towering lemon meringue pie alongside. The Shoreditch dining rooms are dressed in 1970s Capri styling, thick with pattern, colour and plates on the walls. The Pranzetto menu is the midday version of all of it.

Clerkenwell
Two or three courses £34 to £42, Monday to Sunday, 12pm to 2pm.
Pasta is made by hand at Luca, and the open kitchen is in full view of the marble-topped bar. White marble, oak and natural plaster sit against sage green leather banquettes and booths lit by low pendants, under a lightwell that runs down the centre, and a terrace planted with olive trees and jasmine opens off the back. The Express menu is the lunchtime way in, three minutes from Farringdon.

Shoreditch
Two or three courses £24 to £28, Monday to Friday.
The Rapid Rigatoni set lunch at Manteca rotates as the kitchen does, nose-to-tail Italian cooking that puts the whole animal to use. A timber lattice ceiling runs the length of the dining space above polished concrete and a long leather banquette, with a herb-lined window through to the kitchen.

Shoreditch
Four courses £19, Tuesday to Thursday, 12pm to 3pm.
Lunch at UBA arrives as a bento box, four dishes set down at once, with a choice between meat, fish and vegetarian. Korean fried chicken, rock shrimp tempura and vegetable gyoza are among the picks. The cooking is Pan-Asian, in a dining space inside a hotel on Great Eastern Street.
06 | BAO
Various London
Three courses £15, Monday to Friday, 12pm to 5pm.
The BAO 15 menu at BAO pairs a bao, a snack and a noodle dish, counter eating that is done inside an hour. Sites sit across London, the West End ones closest to the design showrooms.
The festival closes on Sunday 20 September, and the nine days before it involve more pavement than most weeks in September. A Sunday lunch at Luca is three minutes from Farringdon and done by 2pm. A Tuesday bento at UBA takes an hour. Kolamba East serves its set lunch on the Saturday the festival opens. Fix lunch around the installations first and the rest of the day holds together.
