We've just added six new set menus to the app, and together they make a strong case for eating at London's prettiest tables without the eye-watering bill. Under the ribbon ceiling on Rathbone Place, Lima brings the cooking that first won London over to Peruvian food. The set lunch is £19 for one course or £27 for two, Monday to Saturday until 5.30pm, built around fresh ceviche and charcoal pollo a la brasa. Some of the most distinctive cooking on this list, at the lowest price.

Southern Italian lunch at the Corinthia, £45.
Inside the Corinthia, the kitchen cooks the food of southern Italy with real warmth. The Pranzo al Volo set lunch is £45 for three courses, Tuesday to Friday, and lets you choose your own pasta and sauce between an antipasto and a dolce. A grand hotel dining room at a fraction of what dinner there costs.

Anchor & Hope cooking in a proper Stoke Newington local, from £21.
From the family behind The Anchor & Hope, this Stoke Newington pub does generous, seasonal British cooking without fuss. The set lunch is £21 for two courses or £24 for three, Tuesday to Friday, running to things like baked St Marcellin and a Middlewhite pork and Highland beef lasagne. The neighbourhood gem of the bunch.
05 · Lasdun
South Bank
The Marksman team inside the National Theatre, two courses £32.
Named after the architect of the building it sits in, Lasdun is the Marksman team's brasserie inside the brutalist National Theatre. The set lunch and pre-theatre menu is £32 for two courses, with a dessert added for £6, running to a caramelised fennel tart and a smoked haddock fishcake. The obvious move before a show on the South Bank.

Ex-Petrus Larry Jayasekara on Bruton Place, set lunch from £29.
Larry Jayasekara, once at the helm of Petrus, cooks a precise, produce-led menu on Bruton Place. The set lunch is £29 for two courses or £39 for three, Tuesday to Saturday, changing every couple of weeks, with the likes of a Scottish lobster raviolo and BBQ Rowler Farm lamb. The tasting-table splurge that still counts as a deal.
