About The Holland
A corner pub on Earls Court Road, where the Princess Victoria lettering remains carved along the facade. Dark green woodwork, exposed brick and bare floorboards run through the bar downstairs, and the dining room above it is set with bentwood chairs and a green floral banquette. Max de Nahlik, who ran the Oxalis pop up before opening here, cooks British ingredient-led food that changes with the season and draws on regenerative farms. The set lunch runs to three courses that follow the week’s produce, recently Caesar salad with anchovies, girolle gnocchi with chicken jus, peas and broad beans, then chocolate mousse with strawberries and honeycomb.
