What is a pre-theatre menu?
A pre-theatre menu is a fixed-price set menu served before evening curtain-up, usually between 5pm and 7pm. It is designed to get diners through two or three courses in around 90 minutes, in time for a 7:30pm or 8pm performance in London's West End.
How early do you need to arrive for a pre-theatre set menu?
Most London pre-theatre menus require diners to be seated by 6pm or 6:30pm. Each restaurant card on this page shows the exact pre-theatre window so you can book accordingly.
